WMPCA Women's Ministries in the Presbyterian Church of Australia -

History and Biblical Basis

A brief but important history about this committee and preceding committees on the consultation about women's ministries in the PCA.

After two previous committees reports, the General Assembly of Australia (GAA) appointed the WMPCQ committee to consult widely with the Presbyterian Church and investigate the ministries and roles available to women in the Church in 2004. The report and deliverances were accepted in September 2007 at the GAA meeting. The result is that there is the current committee to oversee the implementation of the report.
